The footy season is here! I’m sure that, like me, you are all excited (and a little relieved) for the season to finally get underway on Sunday. It is a long road to get here with lots of hard work put in over the preseason. Wishing all our teams, coaches, and players the best of luck for round 1.

FRIDAY NIGHT BITES STARTS TONIGHT!
Our relaunched Friday night meals kicks-off tonight with delicious beef burgers on the menu. We also have a vegetarian option available for those that abstain from meat. Meals will be available from 5.30pm onwards with serving times aligned to our older teams training times. Our Girls U16-1 team are first up on the tools, cooking and serving tonight.

Also new to Friday’s are our weekly raffles with an amazing meat tray from Porterhaus, Moonee Ponds, and a fruit basket on offer for prizes.

Introducing our fully qualified chef behind the menu and coordination of our Friday night meals, Jeanette Williams. Jeannette, along with her daughter Lana from the Girls U12s are new to MVFC in 2024 and we welcome you and your family. It is absolutely amazing to have Jeanette on board supporting Friday Night Bites – thank you!

Reminder to all that submitted an entry to the naming competition to come and claim your free meal whenever you like.

BOYS U16s & GIRLS U10s PLAYERS NEEDED
We are still on the lookout for players and have spots available in our Boys U16s & Girls U10s sides. Refer a friend and receive a $100 Rebel voucher when they sign-up.

MERCH & SECOND-HAND SALES
Our merchandise pop-up and second hand sales (boots, shorts, and socks) will be available at the club tonight. We are still taking donations and would be grateful for any items that you may have outgrown or no longer need, especially socks as we are awaiting the delivery of our next stock order.

TRAINING TOPS
Training tops will also be available for collection at the club tonight if you are yet to receive one. Please come and see Nat who will be set-up inside the rooms. Just a reminder that training tops must be worn at training this season.
