Hi everyone,

With round 1 now in the rearview, I take the opportunity to pause, reflect, and acknowledge all the work put in to get us here. After a solid preseason, it was great to see our teams take the field for the opening round on Sunday. Our junior coaches across the board, along with our club culture, are really what sets us apart from our rival clubs. I would like to thank our Team Managers and all the other volunteers for getting involved both on match days and the numerous other activities around the club. Last Friday we kicked off our Friday Night Bites, which was a huge success, and it was great to see our MVFC community sharing a meal and drink together. Also keep a lookout at Ormond Park tonight for Brisbane Lions Academy coach, Matt Beattie, who will be working with some of our teams on some technical skills-based training.

FRIDAY NIGHT BITES TONIGHT!
Our Boys U14-2 team are on duty tonight, serving up a delicious Friday Night Bites meal this week. On offer is a beef lasagne or a vegetarian cauliflower cheese lasagne, both served with a side of spinach and pear salad. At just $10 per meal, this is unbelievable value!

By popular demand, we will have 2 x meat trays from Porterhaus in Moonee Ponds on offer for the raffle this week, along with an amazing fruit and vegetable box. That’s 3 chances to win – you don’t want to miss out!
