Essendon FC- Next Generation Academy (Come & Try)

Essendon Football Club will be hosting their second Next Generation Academy Come & Try Session for 2025, on Monday 30th June (5:30pm – 7:30pm) at the Northern Saints Football Club, Fawkner.

Event Details:
Date: Monday 30th June
Participants: Open to male and female participants, both running concurrently in split groups.
Time: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Where: Charles Mutton Reserve, 86 Lorne St, Fawkner.
Dress code: Please where comfortable active wear.
Notes: Please bring own drink bottle, mouthguard (if applicable).

Participants can expect a light training session, some small-sided games, and a fun opportunity to meet new friends and members of the Northwest community.

1. To determine if a player lives inside Essendon’s NGA region, please click on the following link and on the magnify glass/search button, enter your residential address/suburb.

2. Next, if they live within Essendon’s zone, are they born in 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2013 and meet any of the following points:
• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
and/or
• The player meets AFL N.G.A Culturally Diverse criteria, by a player or at least one parent born from an African or Asian country.
and/or
• The player and/or both parents are born in a non-English speaking country (Not Asia or Africa).
