Hi everyone,

This week is one of the most important weeks on the Club’s event calendar with the annual Finn McMullen Memorial Round played on Sunday 6 July. As a club, we take the opportunity to celebrate the life of one of our young players that was taken from us too soon. This year marks the 5th anniversary of Finn’s tragic passing. Finn is the son of Sarah and Davin (our U16’s Boys assistant coach), and younger brother to Harper (who also played junior footy at Moonee Valley).

All teams will honour Finn this week by wearing black armbands during matches.There will also be a short speech for the coach or team captain to read to the players before their game in remembrance of Finn.

This Friday night our U18.5 Premier Women play a home match under lights v Keilor. The match starts at 7.30pm. This is a great opportunity for our junior players to stick around after training to watch and support this elite team in action.

FRIDAY NIGHT BITES
Pev’s Boys U14-1 crew are on duty this week for FNB and will be serving up delicious Pulled Pork with Baked Potato and Coleslaw. As always, the bar and canteen will be open for business + don’t miss your chance to win a meat tray or fruit & veg basket in the weekly raffle.

JOONDALUP BOYS U16 EXHIBITION MATCH – 11th JULY
Now into the 11th year of this great tradition, our Boys U16s team play the annual exhibition match against Joondalup FC who travel across from WA next Friday. This year our Girls U14s will also play an interclub match v Doutta Stars under lights ahead of the Boys game. Come on down and have a meal (burgers available), grab a drink, and support our teams in action.

MB SPORTS SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMP
