Hi everyone,

Firstly, I would like to congratulate all teams (players, coaches, team managers, and volunteers) for your participation in yet another successful home and away season. The end of the season comes around quickly, but we still have an exciting month ahead with five junior teams playing finals (see fixtures below) and team presentation days. We’ve kicked goals right across the junior program again this season and I look forward to coming together to celebrate our collective wins for the year.

2026 JUNIOR PRESIDENT – JUSTIN GIULIANO
I am very pleased to announce that Justin Giuliano will take over as Junior President in 2026. In addition to coaching, Justin has been involved with the Junior Committee for the last two seasons in the role of Boys Coordinator. This is an outstanding appointment for the Club and I have no doubt that we will continue to flourish under Justin’s leadership, as he introduces new ideas and new committee members for the 2026 season. If anyone is interested in joining Justin and the team in 2026, please reach out to either him or any of the Junior Committee members directly.

On a personal note, I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to all members of this great Club for the opportunity to be the Junior President for the last three seasons. It has been an honour and a privilege to uphold the role. Thank you also to our amazing committee, these great people do so much work behind the scenes to ensure we continue to grow and thrive. It has been a pleasure working with you all. And finally, thank you to our Club President, Micheal Milne (Milney), for your guidance and friendship throughout the journey. Your leadership of our club is absolutely top-class.

EDFL JUNIOR BEST & FAIREST AWARDS
On behalf of the entire Club, I would like to extend my congratulations to the following players who have been invited along to the EDFL Junior Best and Fairest Presentation night next week. This means they have either won a Junior Best & Fairest or Runner Up Award for Season 2025. Well done on an outstanding season Harriet, Lucy, and Jason!

JUNIOR PRESENTATION DAYS
Our presentation day for under 8’s to under 14’s has been confirmed and will be held on Sunday 24 August in the rooms at Ormond Park. We will communicate the schedule of events with teams closer to the time.

We have tentatively booked the under 16 presentation night for Wednesday 27 August (date TBC subject to availability of teams). This night will involve a sit-down meal with parents/guardians invited to join.

TEAM PHOTOS
Our photographer has advised that our team photos will be available to order next week. The approval process has taken slightly longer than anticipated and we appreciate your patience. Emails from the photographer will be sent directly to families/guardians with details about the ordering process.
