Good morning everyone,
A little wet underfoot today, so we’re in for some classic wet-weather footy, enjoy it!
This week’s message is simple: keep up the great work, and remember our key focus this week “Stay Put.”
If an incident occurs on the ground between players, whether during play, quarter breaks, or halftime—please remain on the sidelines. That means no crossing the fence or entering the field of play at any time.
We’ve been doing a fantastic job with sideline behavior, and it’s great to see our positive culture continuing to grow. We know it can be challenging at times, especially when there’s increased noise or pressure from the sideline, particularly towards our young umpires. The best thing we can do is lead by example: stay positive, respectful, and controlled.
That same principle applies if things get heated on the field. If there’s a scuffle or tense moment stay calm, stay on the sidelines, and “Stay Put.” Parents, Supporters and guardians must not enter the field or become involved under any circumstances.
Let’s continue to set the right example for our players and officials.
Have a great day at junior football, and remember:
